All of the traders and representatives in our overseas offices speak a foreign language, some fluently. The languages spoken around the Wogen offices include English, French, German, Japanese, Russian, Spanish, Mandarin and various other Chinese dialects.
Wogeners travel a lot. In the hinterland of China, the teahouses of Gion, or the Steppes of Siberia, Wogeners are intrepid in their search of metals for their customers. The company firmly believes that long-term, mutually beneficial business is based on strong interpersonal relationships, and travel is essential in building these.
Wogen draws on a long background in metals - its trading team having over 200 years combined experience.
The Wogen team has always had a healthy competitive attitude, be it in business or sport. Sporting activities include football, cricket, where we have an annual match against the MMTA, ocean yacht racing, our own golf day and hosting our own box at the annual Hong Kong rugby 7's.
At the end of the day, our view of business is that it's all about relationships.
